Cleveland Fans Boo Anderson After Injury

Browns fans will never be accused of political correctness and civility...Remember 'Jump Art'? Remember the fans on sports radio defending the throwing of bottles after 'Bottlegate'? The natives are restless...and angry...Hear the groans as Derek Anderson fails to protect the ball, and wastes a solid defensive performance by the Browns...See it below...C'mon Browns fans, the guy had a great 2007...Is it always, 'What have you done for me lately?' So much so that you'd boo the guy when he gets a season ending injury? According to reports some Browns players confronted some fans after the game about the boos of Anderson. I think it was a vocal minority, but classless on their part. Remember when Tim Couch cried? Philly may have tough fans, but Cleveland is no cakewalk...

Why would one think it is unusual for Fat out of shape non athletic drunks to boo someone who has had some sucess in their life. The same guy booing DA probably sleep all night on his job or cheated on his time sheet or when he had a bad day blamed it on some else.I wonder if the boo -birds would like 78000 reviewing their work each day.Shame on them. The problem is much deeper than one player.Good Luck and get well to DA

I spent 2 years in Philthy, and Philthy fans are day-in and day-out meaner and worse than CLOWNS fans. Certainly, CLOWNS fans are frustrated at the way the season has gone after they were told the team would contend for the division title. Certainly, my overall impression of CLOWNS fans is positive; they have been loyal through thick and thin- with very little thick to enjoy and lots of paper-thin to suffer through. Having given that excuse, one would think CLOWNS fans should be used to being let down after some many disappointments. Maybe this time was one too many. The fans that booed DA or cheered his injury or whatever, did not break any new ground in the NFL- I have seen in happen before, but not often, and the fans that did really ought to be ashamed for having done it, especially at the start of the Christmas season.
